SHELBY—The leaves are falling and the air is cooler — it’s time for the Annual Chili Supper/Turkey Shoot at Shelby Sacred Heart, located on state Route 61 South between Crestline and Shelby.
The fun begins Nov. 2 at noon and lasts until dusk/dark with shoots for men, women and children. The winner has a choice of a frozen 10 to 12 pound turkey or a cash prize.
The menu for the event includes chili, chicken noodle soup, sandwiches, veggie pizza and homemade pie. There is also to be a reverse raffle.
The event is sponsored by the Sacred Heart Ways and Means Committee. All proceeds go to the church.
