MANSFIELD—Christopher Amalfitano and Morgan Frye were named Bishop’s Cross honorees for Mansfield St. Peter High School.

Christopher is the son of Dr. Michael and Dianne Amalfitano. He was active in varsity golf, basketball and tennis, and was secretary of both student council and Key Club. An Eagle Scout, he was also a Kairos leader, member of National Honor Society, Peace Jam and president of Junior Statesmen of America. He plans to attend the University of Alabama and major in public relations.
“I have been blessed with so many opportunities and privileges in my life and know that God has been the guiding light through all of my experiences,” he said. “My faith is very important to me and I will continue to look to God for guidance and comfort for years to come.”
Morgan is the daughter of Teresa Coll and Kevin Frye. She was president of National Honor Society, homeroom representative for student council and a member of the Math Club. Morgan was also the May crowning queen. She plans to attend the University of Toledo and major in bioengineering.
“My faith means that no matter what happens to me in my life, whether it is good or bad, that I will have someone who is there for me and will never leave me,” she said. “In other words, my faith gives me a best friend.”
