Sr. Cervi brings more than 20 years of experience as a teacher, assistant principal and principal at Catholic schools in the Toledo area as well as in the Diocese of Orlando.
“Our parish school will be in caring and capable hands under the leadership of Sr. Marie Christine,” says Father Kent Kaufman, pastor of All Saints. “Her colleagues at previous schools have noted her collaborative style and her dedication to Catholic education.”
Sr. Cervi says she hopes “to continue to partner with parents and build upon the outstanding educational opportunities All Saints provides to students from preschool through eighth grade. I also hope to work in tandem with All Saints Parish as well as the Rossford business community to provide the best possible education for our children.”
Sr. Cervi earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Bowling Green State University and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Ursuline College near Cleveland. She has taught second, sixth and eighth grades, served as assistant principal at various schools in the Diocese of Toledo and Michigan and was principal at Sacred Heart Catholic School in New Smyrna Beach, Fla., for nine years.
Teresa Richardson, who is retiring, served as All Saints’ principal for the past six years.
