ROSSFORD—Groucho Marx, Mozart, Ethel Merman, Buddy Holly and Jackie Kennedy Onassis are just a few of the historical figures who came to life during a unique wax museum presentation by seventh-graders at Rossford All Saints School April 28.
Dressed in full costume and makeup and well versed in their characters’ lives, the students spoke and acted like their characters as visitors stopped by to look and listen.
“This is an extensive project that exposes the students to history on a different level,” explains Carol Gutierrez, All Saints seventh-grade teacher. “Rather than simply write a book report, the wax museum gives the students first-hand practice in research, writing, and public speaking.”
