TOLEDO—The St. Patrick of Heatherdowns (SPH) Athletic Board is sponsoring the 13th annual Irish Reverse Raffle, Dinner and Silent Auction Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. at the school.
The raffle grand prize is $3,000 with total prize money several thousand dollars more. Tickets are $50 each and include entry, dinner, beer, wine coolers, pop and $5 of “house money.”
The raffle begins at 6 p.m. with an Italian dinner served until 8 p.m., at which time additional food is available until the end of the evening while guests play games of chance and bid on silent auction items.
This year each grade created an individual gift basket for the auction, such as an art basket from grade one, a sports basket from grade five and a tailgate basket from grade eight.
The Irish Reverse Raffle is the sole athletic boosters fundraiser; 100 percent of the proceeds go directly into the athletic budget making this event extremely important to SPH student athletes.
