SYLVANIA—Retired Bishop Thomas Gumbleton of Detroit is to speak about the condition of Haiti during a program Jan. 9 at the Franciscan Theatre and Conference Center.

The presentation, sponsored by the Sylvania Sisters of St. Francis, begins at 3 p.m. There is no charge for the event, but donations are to be accepted to support the peace and justice activities of the Sylvania Franciscans.
