MAUMEE—The 1958 first Communion class of Maumee St. Joseph held their 50th reunion June 1 with a Mass and breakfast. The classes that made their first Communion prior to 1958 and the spouses of all the communicants were also invited to participate.

Historian Jack Hiles displayed memorabilia from the history of the parish with many items from the 1950s.

Susan (Raab) Pflaghaar, from the Communion class of 1890, began the reunion tradition more than 75 years ago.
