SWANTON—St. Richard Parish in Swanton hosts a dramatic presentation of the life of St. Catherine of Siena April 5 at 8 p.m.

Dominican Sister Nancy Murray, sister of acclaimed actor Bill Murray, presents the one-woman show with boundless energy and Italian enthusiasm.

St. Catherine is the patroness of the Dominican order and is best remembered for “The Dialogue,” an intimate collection of prayers and conversations between herself and God.

Sr. Murray has been performing as St. Catherine for many years across the country and believes her calling helps keep St. Catherine’s spirit alive and inspires others to live the virtues she lived by. She has a dramatic gift of transforming herself into the 14th-century St. Catherine, bringing alive her message of service to the sick, impoverished and imprisoned.

The audience will have a chance to meet “St Catherine” after the performance and talk with Sr. Murray.

The performance is at St. Richard Church, 333 Brookside Dr., and a free-will offering will be accepted at the door. For directions or further information, call the parish office at 419-826-2791.
