Lourdes Appold Planetarium to feature ‘Dawn of the Space Age’ |

SYLVANIA—Relive the excitement of the early days of space exploration with the Lourdes College Appold Planetarium program “Dawn of the Space Age.”
From the launch of the first artificial satellite, Sputnik, to the magnificent lunar landings and privately operated space flights, “Dawn of the Space Age” will immerse visitors in a historical reconstruction of Man’s first steps into space.
The one-hour program is to be shown at 7 p.m. six Fridays: Feb. 1, 15 and 29, March 14 and 28 and April 11. Admission is $4 for adults and $3 for children under 12 and for Lourdes College students presenting their student ID. Seating is limited to 60.
