SYLVANIA—Beginning this fall, Lourdes College is offering a scholarship to men and women serving in the Ohio National Guard.

The Lourdes College Ohio National Guard Hero Scholarship grants students already receiving the Ohio National Guard Scholarship an additional $2,000 in tuition support per semester or up to $4,000 per year. All students who meet the following qualifications are to be awarded the Hero Scholarship:

— Pursuing a bachelor or certificate program at Lourdes College

— Enrolled full-time and in good-standing at Lourdes College

—Maintaining compliance with all requirements of the Ohio National Guard Scholarship Program

Lourdes College also offers free tuition to veterans through the Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program, a provision of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act.
