SYLVANIA—Beginning this fall, students will be able to design their own custom degree at Lourdes College through the new Integrated Business Bachelor of Science program.

This transfer-friendly program was designed to be flexible and assist professionals and students who seek a  bachelor’s degree.

“Organizations of today are looking for graduates who possess the skills and subject knowledge of their professional area, in addition to an understanding of cross integration of other sectors in the business world,” notes Dr. Janet Robinson, vice president for Academic Affairs. “Lourdes’ Integrated Business program provides the traditional foundation, while also giving students the ability to hone the specific skills that employers require.”

Students who enroll in Integrated Business will complete core business coursework while, under the direction of an advisor, they tailor 24 semester hours to meet their individual business needs. The program allows those with associate degrees from accredited community colleges the opportunity to transfer courses from academic programs such as computer programming, informational systems, networking and e-business toward the fulfillment of their Bachelor of Science degree.
