SYLVANIA—The Lourdes College Appold Planetarium presents “Field Trip to the Moon,” a virtual trip to our closest neighbor in space.
In “Field Trip to the Moon,” audiences come face-to-face with the challenges of space travel, experience a thrilling NASA rocket launch and orbit the Earth to get an astronaut’s view of sunrise. This virtual journey was created using NASA engineering models and scientific data.
“Field Trip to the Moon” begins at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 16, 23 and 30 and Feb. 13 and 27.
Admission is $4 for adults and $3 for children under 12 and for Lourdes College students presenting their student ID. Shows at the Appold Planetarium are limited to 50 and often sell out. To purchase tickets, contact Laura Megeath, Appold Planetarium coordinator, at planetarium@lourdes.edu or 419-517-8897.
