SYLVANIA—Lourdes College is hosting a SAVE (Science Alliance for Valuing the Environment) lecture titled, “Maumee Western Lake Erie Water is Very Special,” Jan. 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Franciscan Theatre and Conference Center.
Presented by Sandy Bihn, president of the Western Lake Erie Association and Toledo Lighthouse Society, the lecture is to discuss Maumee Bay, Western Lake Erie and the Toledo Lighthouse, which serves as a connecting point between these two bodies of water.
The lecture is designed to inform audience members about the aquatic life contained in these waters, fun facts and challenges surrounding the Great Lakes, as well as a history of the Toledo Lighthouse.
