CLYDE—Clyde St. Mary students were surprised Oct. 30 when members of the Debra Dell Memorial group came to school to present each child with a red winter cap complete with a St. Mary’s Knight logo.

The Debra Dell Memorial was established March 21, 2005. Debra Kay Dell, a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, died Sept. 11, 2004, after a long battle with cancer. Her family wants her loving memory to be carried on through her grandchildren, Caden and Caleb Gillmor, who presently attend St. Mary School. The memorial fund sponsors many school activities as well as the “Knights Award,” and it recently provided yard signs for those students who obtain the “Knights” honor.
