The Toledo Rotary provided a grant to allow high school students to purchase presents for all of the children at the party. In addition each child received a set of gloves, scarf and a hat.

More than 50 St. Francis students entertained the guests, singing Christmas carols, decorating cookies, making ornaments and playing holiday games. A special visit by Santa Claus (senior Danny Yodzis) was the highlight of the party.

The club’s moderator is Mike Wielgopolski, who was assisted by his wife Mary Beth, Kathy Gullette and Joe Sweeney to plan the event. Freshmen Derek Kastner, Ben Steingass and Stephen Gullette helped purchase the presents.
