Currently associate principal in the high school, Dr. Borgelt brings a passion for education and creative approach to learning to the seventh- and eighth-grade school.
A Perrysburg native and resident of Maumee, he has degrees from Ohio University and the University of Toledo. He completed his doctorate in history last summer.
“Bryan brings a wealth of ideas and experience to his new role as academy principal,” says Jesuit Father Joaquin Martinez, president of the school.
As associate principal, Dr. Borgelt expanded offerings for students, from organizing a fly fishing club to expanding mentoring for students.
“I am very fortunate to be part of the academy’s proven success,” Dr. Borgelt says. “We have a winning program that brings out the best of our seventh- and eighth-grade students. The students love coming to school and love learning. I can’t wait to get started.”
