TOLEDO—The Toledo Central Catholic High School and St. Ursula Academy golf teams competed in the Jamie Farr Junior Pro-Am on June 28.

The Central Catholic Lady Irish team included Mary Carrigan, Carolyn Comes, Kayla Murnen and Abby Nowak. Their team score led to a second place tie with the team from St. Ursula, but they came in third place in a scorecard playoff. The winning team was 14 under par.

The 18-hole scramble consisted of 19 teams from local high schools, and each team played with an LPGA pro golfer. The Lady Irish team was matched with tour-newcomer Taylor Leon, and the team finished 13 under par.

All team members received trophies, and several family members and friends served as caddies.
