LIMA—Members of the Newman Student Outreach on the campuses of The Ohio State University and Rhodes State College of Lima collected items to be sent to the soldiers for Christmas.

The group took on the project because they felt soldiers are sometimes forgotten and they wanted to do their part to let the soldiers know how much their service is appreciated.

The Newman group placed boxes for donations in each campus building and had an overwhelming number of donations from students and instructors. The boxes of goodies are being sent to an Ohio base stationed in Afghanistan.
