He and other winners were honored at a banquet March 24. His name and biography are to appear on a plaque in the entry plaza to the Toledo Zoo.
The CYE, a subcommittee of The Community Partnership, is an organization that highlights area youth who put others before themselves in an effort to create a better environment in which to live. The entrepreneurship category of the Walk of Fame Award honors youths who have organized a business that contributes financially to a cause or individual in need.
Johnathon is the president and CEO of his company, Not Just Cookies, which sells homemade cookies, cupcakes, brownies, cookie cakes and more, all made from scratch with natural ingredients. The company sells pink ribbon-shaped cookies to benefit cancer awareness, and Johnathon also donates some of his proceeds to a variety of other charities.
