LIMA—Four students from Lima Central Catholic High School were among those selected for scholarships by the Charitable Italian American Organization (CIAO).

Amber Rigali, Emily Hullinger, Brittany Mooney and Alexander Wade were among 20 students who were each awarded $1,000 scholarships.

The scholarship recipients received their awards during a May 16 dinner to which their parents and guidance counselors were invited.

The annual CIAO pasta dinner is the primary fundraiser for the organization, with a majority of profits going into scholarships. CIAO also funds various other community groups and events.
