TOLEDO—Toledo Central Catholic High School anatomy and physiology teacher Dave Torrence was recently honored as an Outstanding Partner in Education by the University of Toledo College of Engineering.
The award is presented for encouragement, dedication and support of the technical leaders of tomorrow.

Mark Morris, a 2009 graduate of Central Catholic, nominated Mr. Torrence for the award. Mr. Morris chose Mr. Torrence as the most influential educator in his decision to study engineering at the University of Toledo, and cited the profound influence Mr. Torrence has had in his professional development.
