Courage to present weekend retreat this fall

COLUMBUS—The Columbus Chapter of Courage is offering a weekend retreat from Sept.14-16 at the Jesuit Spiritual Center in Milford, Ohio.
Courage is a Catholic organization that promotes chaste living for those struggling with same-sex attraction (SSA), and is in accordance with the Roman Catholic Church’s teachings on homosexuality. The retreat theme is “Pursuing Purity of Heart.” This program is also an opportunity for the chapter to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
The feature presenter is Perry J. Cahall, who received his Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Historical Theology from St. Louis University. Dr. Cahall earned his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Duke University. He is currently an associate professor of Historical Theology at the Pontifical College Josephinum, where he teaches Theology and Church History. Dr. Cahall is a recognized authority and lecturer on Blessed Pope John Paul II’s “Theology of the Body” teachings and applies insights to issues facing members of Courage.
Dr. Cahall has had articles and essays published in a wide rages of publications.
