Little Sisters host day at the ballpark

TOLEDO-The Little Sisters of the Poor are hosting a day at the Mud Hens June 21.
More than 250 people are expected to the event at which Little Sister of the Poor Cecilia Mary Sartorius becomes "Manager for the Day" as the Mud Hens take on the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs.
The event begins at Fifth-Third Field with a picnic at 5:30 p.m. The game begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults and $12 for children age 12 and younger and are available by calling 419-698-4331.
All proceeds support the work of the Little Sisters of the Poor, who run the Sacred Heart Home in Oregon. The Sacred Heart Home offers a continuum of care from independent living apartments, assisted living and licensed nursing care.
