New leadership team members include Sisters Joyce Lehman, president; Nancy Kinross, vice president; and councilors Linda Pleiman, Cecilia Taphorn and Mary Yarger. The council begins official duties with installation Aug. 7.

From 2000-2010, Sr. Lehman served the Diocese of Toledo as director of Pastoral Planning and associate leader for the Secretariat for Pastoral Leadership. In 2010, she became director of initial formation for the Precious Blood Sisters.

Sr. Pleiman also has local ties. She was principal at Toledo Little Flower School from 1987-1989 and taught social studies at Toledo Central Catholic from 1989 to the present.

Sr. Kinross has ministered primarily in the Cincinnati area, Sr. Taphorn in Ohio and Sr. Yarger in California.

Dare to Hope, the theme of the sisters’ membership gathering, yielded focused goals for the coming four years. These include moving with deliberation to re-purpose the Retirement Center; inviting and integrating new members; strategically planning for use of resources; and collaboratively partnering for mission with persons beyond the congregation’s own membership.
