Second religious freedom rally set for June 8

TOLEDO—A second “Stand Up For Religious Freedom-Stop the HHS Mandate” is being planned for noon June 8 at the Adams Street side of the Lucas County Courthouse in downtown Toledo.
Annunciation Radio, WNOC 89.7 FM in Toledo and WHRQ 88.1 FM in Sandusky, are organizing the event, which is part of an organized nationwide event in more than 100 cities. This is also a follow-up rally to the successful March rally that drew 1,000 people.

Prior to the rally, Bishop Leonard P. Blair is to offer a special Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Toledo St. Francis de Sales Chapel to pray for the success of efforts to uphold religious liberty.
