Sister Beatrice Lindsay, 50 years Sr. Lindsay entered St. Agnes Convent from Sheboygan, Wis., and made first profession in the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes Aug. 15, 1960.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in elementary education from Marian College in Fond du Lac, Wis., became certified in massage therapy at New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics and earned a master’s degree in elementary education from Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa.
She has ministered as an elementary school teacher, principal, liturgical musician, regional coordinator for the congregation and massage therapist. From 1981 to 1982, she taught the second grade at Defiance St. John the Baptist. She also served schools in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Kansas and Illinois and has ministered in New Mexico and Wisconsin.
Currently she resides in Fond du Lac, Wis., where she assists with liturgical music at St. Agnes Convent and also provides massage therapy.
Sister Jean Andrewjeski, 40 years Sr. Andrewjeski entered St. Agnes Convent from Waunakee, Wis., and made first profession in the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes Aug. 15, 1970.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Marian College in Wisconsin and a master’s in religious education from St. Meinrad’s Theological Seminary.
She has ministered as an elementary school teacher, pastoral associate, director of religious education and in ministry to the elderly with dementia. In the Diocese of Toledo, she taught the fourth grade from 1985 to 1988 at Defiance St. John the Baptist. She has also ministered in Pennsylvania, Illinois, New York and Wisconsin.
Currently she resides in Sun Prairie, Wisc., and ministers with assisted living residents and persons with dementia.
