TOLEDO—The Toledo Serra Club seeks support from businesses, individuals and organizations willing to donate door prizes to be given to religious sisters during the Helen Coyle Memorial 11th Annual Appreciation Golf Outing and Luncheon.

Organizers hope to secure enough donations that every sister who attends goes home with a door prize. All donors are to be listed in the event program and are welcome to cheer their favorite sister or order at the tournament.

The Serra Club hosts the miniature golf outing at 1 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Bedford Hills Golf Course in Temperance, Mich. Organizing this event is the club’s way of thanking God for the sisters and their vocations.

At the outing, the sisters enjoy an afternoon of camaraderie with religious from various orders as they receive fresh flower corsages, golf cart rides, a luncheon, miniature golf tournament — complete with trophies — and ice cream treats under the canopy of Bedford Hills. The highlight of the afternoon is the prize raffle.

To donate a door prize or receive more details, contact Mur Bookmiller at 419-882-6511 or mur@bookmillerandassociates.com.
