Kelly Snyder and her guide dog recently visited Judy Maher’s third-grade classroom at Port Clinton Immaculate Conception, where Ms. Snyder answered questions and explained the training process and proper manners people should use when they see a guide dog working in public.  The class had just finished reading the story “Mom’s Best Friend” by Sally Hobart Alexander, which is about a mother who needs a guide dog.  Pictured are, from left, Garrett Hirt, Collin Fleming, Alyssa Diaz, teacher Judy Maher, Mitchell Coon, Joseph Bennett, Kelly Snyder and her guide dog, Adrianna Hummel, Chase Mayle and Parker Kajfasz.
