TIFFIN—Mercy Tiffin Hospital’s sixth annual Hearts Alive Auction raised more than $5,000 to benefit the hospital's cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program and the American Heart Association.
A heart healthy meal was prepared by Mike McClellan and Aramark Food Service, and Heidelberg University’s Kappa Psi Omega sorority members served the meal. Bill Jones and his family from Jones Premier Auctions donated their auction services for the event. A variety of baskets and other items were donated by Mercy Tiffin employees, volunteers and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation patients, as well as friends and local businesses.
A basket competition among hospital departments was won by the surgery department, and the winner of the Schwinn Airdyne exercise bike raffle was Linda Larimer from Republic.
