TIFFIN—A Peace Fair in Tiffin June 23 has been organized under the auspices of Project Peace, a ministry of the Sisters of St. Francis, Tiffin.
“We are very excited about this opportunity to bring people of peace together for this dynamic, fun event,” says Tiffin Franciscan Sister Paulette Schroeder, director of Project Peace.

The Peace Fair is from noon to 4 p.m. at Frost Parkway.
The event includes a parade at 1 p.m. that is to feature bicycles decorated with peace themes, a wagon with a live St. Francis, jugglers, banners and musicians. Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz is to lead the parade.
Also featured during the Peace Fair are food booths, a magician, live music, children’s games, opportunities to work with clay and origami, displays about justice issues and the Traveling Mural Exhibit from the Art Miles Mural Project.
“We hope to see a lot of people at this event,” Sr. Schroeder says. “Project Peace is in its first year, and we are working hard to help bring peace to hearts, homes and communities. We all have a part to play.”
Those interested in being a part of the parade may contact Sr. Schroeder at 419-447-0435, ext. 136.
