TOLEDO—A number of different summer fun and sports camps are being offered at Toledo Notre Dame Academy.
‘Let’s Try It’ camps offer girls the chance to sing, act, bake, dance, play an instrument, learn about money and explore their inner selves. Camps are $75 per session and open to girls entering fifth- though eighth-grades in the fall.
New this year are Girl Leadership Power and Money Sense. In Girl Leadership Power, campers explore how to improve self-confidence and how to be successful in and out of school. Money Sense provides a smart start on financial concepts.
For girls entering grades four through nine in the fall, sports camps include basketball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, volleyball and golf. Indoor sports are played in the Eagles’ air-conditioned gym while outdoor sports are played on the fields on the NDA campus. Sports camp sessions vary in from $50 to $80.
New this year is the golf camp, which is to be conducted at Quarry Ridge Golf Course in Ottawa Lake, Mich.
Camp times are designed so girls can bring a lunch and participate in two camps. Applications and information are available at www.nda.org or 419-475-9359.
