MANSFIELD—Catholic Charities staff honored more than 60 volunteers during a luncheon at Lexington Resurrection Parish in late April.
The volunteers assist Catholic Charities by answering phones, serving as guardians in the Adult Advocacy Guardianship Program, assisting clients in the H.O.P.E. Pantry and helping with the prescription, medical and rent assistance programs.
Donald and Beth Teffner were honored as Outstanding Community Volunteers for their work in the Adult Advocacy Guardianship Program.
“Catholic Charities is so blessed to have such wonderful volunteers,” says Rebecca Owens, site manager. “Without our volunteers, it would be hard to serve the community of Mansfield and Richland County.”
