NEW WASHINGTON—New Washington St. Bernard dedicated a new playground last fall in honor of the late Dorothy Weithman, who taught at the school for 26 years.

Following a blessing of the playground by Father Eric Culler, pastor of St. Bernard, principal Susan Maloy presented Mrs. Weithman’s husband, Al, and his family with a memorial plaque that recognized Mrs. Weithman “for blessing St. Bernard School with 26 years of dedicated and loving service.”

Students, teachers, school staff and parish staff also created and signed a banner thanking all who helped make the new playground possible.
