SYLVANIA--About 170 women attended Sylvania St. Joseph's second annual Great Harvest, an evening of nourishment for the body and soul.

A delicious dinner that fed the body was held in the middle school gymnasium and served by young people and men of the parish, including Msgr. Dennis Metzger, pastor, and Father Charles Ritter, associate pastor. In the Father Wurzel room, Jen Giroux of Cincinnati fed the soul with a presentation that inspired all. Stacy DelVerne entertained by painting a portrait of Christ to the vocal and piano accompaniment of Laura Angel.

Both rooms were decorated with pumpkins, haystacks, gourds, corn stalks, banners depicting light beams and miniature candles.
