CLYDE—Sharon Kinnear, principal of Clyde St. Mary, has announced the school is introducing a preschool program for 4- and 5-year-olds for the 2010-2011 school year.
The school advisory board and the parish finance committee have both supported the idea and are now ready to incorporate the program into the K-6 school system.
“This is a great service and great price for working parents and will also be beneficial to the school,” said Ms. Kinnear.
Acceptance is to be on a first come, first served basis with the school accepting a maximum of 14 students into the preschool program. Extended day is also to be offered for the preschoolers if needed.
For more information, call the school at 419-547-9687 or e-mail stmarysec@opman.com.
