Fremont seniors honored at graduation

FREMONT—Many seniors were recognized for their accomplishments during graduation ceremonies at Fremont St. Joseph Central Catholic High School May 30.

Bishop’s Cross honorees were Christopher Liebold and Taylor Darr. Excellence in Religion awards were earned by Carrissa Burns and John Fatica, who were valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively.

The next five highest ranking seniors were Taylor Darr, Ashley Carroll, Joshua Schiets, Matthew Wickline and Jessica Molyet.

National Honor Society Gold Cord Members included Sean Brawley, Carrissa Burns, Ashley Carroll, Sophia Cullen, Taylor Darr, John Fatica, Jessica Molyet, Zoey McQuistion, Joshua Schiets and Matthew Wickline.

Jordan Adams was given the Achievement Award and Jessica Molyet earned the Perfect Attendance Award.

Highest Subject Averages were attained by:
• Taylor Darr in art,
• Christopher Liebold in music,
• John Fatica in English and social studies, and
• Carrissa Burns in Spanish, math, science and social studies.

The Ethel Smith Outstanding Female Athlete Award went to Jessica Molyet and the Robert Smith Outstanding Male Athlete Award was earned by Garrett Walker.

Joshua Schiets won the Alumni & Friends Award. The Sara Barbour Memorial Award for Courage was given to Matthew Wickline. C. J. Holland received the Thomas H. Rimelspach Memorial Award. The Honor Award for Outstanding Loyalty and Service was earned by Sophia Cullen.
