The game is at 7 p.m. June 18 at Hershey Park Stadium in Hershey, Pa.

Mr. Cameron is a 6-foot, 3-inch, 285-pound defensive tackle who started three years for the Central Catholic Fighting Irish and was team captain. He was named Lineman of the Year as a senior and was a two-time First Team All-State selection and a three-time First Team All-District selection. He plans to continue his football career with the University of Toledo Rockets in the fall.

“Kyle is obviously a great football player and one of the best linemen I have ever coached,” said Fighting Irish head coach Greg Dempsey.  “More importantly, Kyle is a great kid with an outstanding work ethic. He has represented Central Catholic very well during his career here and will do the same for the University of Toledo.”

Mr. Cameron thanks his family, friends, teammates and the Central Catholic athletic department and football program for helping him achieve so much.

“I thank Coach Dempsey and the assistants for supporting me for the last four years, and a special thanks to Coach Tom Santoro, who has helped me become a good player and an even better person,” he said. “And thanks to my first coach — my dad.”

The Big 33 Football Classic, which originated in 1957, showcases outstanding high school athletes from Ohio and Pennsylvania and is considered the Super Bowl of high school football. Some of the well-known alumni of the game include Tony Dorsett, Antonio Freeman, Marvin Harrison, Jim Kelly, Dan Marino, Curtis Martin, Joe Montana, Joe Namath, Orlando Pace and Ben Roethlisberger.
