TOLEDO—“Legally Blonde: The Musical” is being presented Feb. 3-5 at the Franciscan Center of Lourdes University.

The Toledo St. Ursula Academy production includes a cast of 85 that follows the path of Elle Woods from Malibu to Harvard to the courtrooms of Boston — and the salons, too.

Elle, portrayed by senior Emma Burmeister, is accompanied by Nick Case of Toledo St. John’s Jesuit High School as Emmett, Doug Jensen of Toledo St. Francis de Sales High School as Professor Callahan and Thomas Rabuiano of Anthony Wayne High School as Warner Huntington III. Her high-spirited sorority sisters are Jackie Miesle (Margot), Carly Bonfiglio (Serena), Colleen Irmen (Pilar) and Kate (Victoria Sidell). Mary Gibbons and Kennedy Bohm are featured as Vivienne and Enid.

Rachel Wainz assumes the role of Brooke Windham, the fitness queen whose videos come alive with SUA’s principal dancers. They are joined by Doug Burkhardt of Perrysburg High School and Sean Howe of Toledo School for the Arts.

Production director is Perrysburg resident Elizabeth Clarke Horrigan. She is partnered with Allison Krzyminski, Wen Chin Liu (music) and Erika Anne Wojkiewicz (choreography). Set designer Melissa Beland and set director Patrick McCarty have created a rapidly changing environment of scenes.

Show times are 7:30 p.m. Feb. 3-4 and 2 p.m. Feb. 5.

For tickets, call St. Ursula Academy at 419-531-1693 or order online at www.toledosua.org.
