Symposium To Stop Elder Abuse In Ohio (8:45 AM)

Serving Our Seniors, a non-profit adult advocacy group, is host a state-wide symposium: “Understanding Financial Elder Abuse: the Crime, the Shame and the Solution.” The goal of the symposium is to educate attorneys, health care workers, social service, financial, law enforcement and other professionals about elder exploitation and fraud and their roles in identifying, reporting and stopping the abuse. Registration is $50 for law enforcement professionals to earn continuing education credits and for any individuals who do not need credits.  The cost is $100 for those earning credits for other professions.
