Holy Angels was the first of three parishes to be established in Sandusky, Ohio. Its church is the oldest standing church in the Diocese of Toledo, though it has undergone numerous expansions and renovations over the years. Because of its special place in the history of Catholicism in northwest Ohio, Holy Angels hosted a regional celebration of the Diocese of Toledo's 100th anniversary with Bishop Leonard P. Blair in March. Read more about the history of the parish in the March 14, 2010, print edition. | |||||
