TOLEDO—Toledo St. Ursula Academy’s freshmen crew team won a silver medal during the National Championships in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., May 29.

The school sent three boats to the Scholastic Rowing Association’s 76th championship. The Freshmen 8 boat brought home the silver medal, ranking second in the nation. The Junior 8 and the Varsity 4 boats took eighth and ninth, respectively.
Hosted by the Saratoga Rowing Association, the two-day event attracted 3,100 rowers from high schools throughout the East Coast and Mid-Atlantic region. Fish Creek, which flows out of Saratoga Lake, provided the 1,500-meter course for the rowers.
